This is a 5/8 size, 5-string instrument based on a Viennese Stadlmann pattern, with Dave's own FF hole design and design touches.
String length is 1000mm, strung B, E,A,D, G. Bolt-on, adjustable and removable neck. Yamahiko pickups.

Tasmanian Oak (Eucalypus Regnans) ribs
Jarrah (Eucalyptus Marginata) c bouts and back dart
Western Red Cedar (Thuja Plicata) top
Purfling inlay is Jarrah
Dave has been repairing and restoring instruments for many years and is well known as a player and teacher. This is his first handmade instrument.
